There are two different official previews, and separating them prevents the teaser from turning into a fictional changelog.
Nothing's August 20 announcement is a nine-second graphic. Dates advance from August 10 to August 25 while the day, date, month, and time shift inside Nothing's rounded, monospaced visual language. Small symbols then resolve into a “Nothing OS 5.0” label over a hazy blue, green, and pink background. It confirms the branding, date, and time—not product behaviour.
Pei's August 22 post is closer to an interface demonstration. Across roughly three seconds, the camera stays on the top of a phone while status indicators change.
