Opus 4.7 is Anthropic’s most capable Claude tier to date — the hackathon is explicitly framed around shipping real projects with Claude Code in one week.
Organizers aim to select 500 participants; each receives $500 in Claude API credits for the build window.
Top teams compete for up to $100,000 in additional Claude API credits (see official rules on the event page).
Judges named in public copy include Boris Cherny, Cat Wu, Thariq Shihipar, Lydia Hallie, Ado Kukic, and Jason Bigman from the Claude team.
Fully virtual; maximum team size is two; admission is application-based — everyone submits for approval.
