Transform education
for the next generation.

Learners today grew up on YouTube. They don't sit through 60-slide PowerPoints. They skip to the good part, pause to try it themselves, and move on when it gets dull. That's not a problem to solve — that's the new standard for good teaching.

explainx.ai exists to change the way learning works: practical, hands-on, and actually fun — built for the generation that won't settle for boring.

Vision

A world where learning feels like discovery,
not a chore.

We believe the next generation of professionals — developers, founders, operators, leaders — will be defined by how fast they can learn and apply new skills, not by the credentials they collected in school. AI is accelerating this. The tools change every month. The frameworks evolve every week. What doesn't change is the need for teaching that meets people where they are and gets them building on day one.

We're exploring what learning looks like now that AI changes what's even worth teaching — and building the platform, curriculum, and community to match.

Mission

Make AI skills accessible, practical,
and immediately usable.

Through live bootcamps, workshops, online courses, and corporate training — across every format, every level — we deliver AI education that works the way great YouTube channels work: engaging, opinionated, and built to make the concept click in the first 10 minutes.

A personal note

AI is the best thing to happen to us.
It's also what I worry about most.

I'm not writing this as a mission statement. I'm writing it because it's true.

I have a child, and like a lot of people who think seriously about where AI is headed, I worry about the world she's going to grow up in. Not in an abstract way — genuinely. AI is one of the best things to happen to humanity in my lifetime. It's already changing how our students learn, how founders build, how people work. I believe that. I've built a company betting on it.

But a technology this powerful doesn't get a pass on the ways it can go wrong. Models that lie confidently. Agents that hallucinate a plan and execute it anyway. Systems handed real permissions — shell access, browser control, API keys — with almost nobody watching what they actually do with that power. And underneath all of it, a harder question more serious people are asking every year: what happens as these systems get more capable than us, faster than we can build the tools to understand or correct them? I don't think that's science fiction. I think it's a real possibility — deception, hallucination, and, at the far end, even extinction risk — and pretending otherwise is how we sleepwalk into it.

So we're doing what little we can. explainx.ai started as, and remains, an education company — we're not walking away from that, because teaching people to use AI well is part of the same fight. But we're also expanding into AI safety and security, starting with Sentinel: a product built to watch what AI agents actually do, and flag it when something looks dangerous, inconsistent, or dishonest. It's not because we think one startup solves alignment. It's because we know how to build software, we've spent years deep in this ecosystem, and this was the most obvious direction for that expertise to go.

This isn't a pivot away from what we believe in. It's the same belief, applied to the part of AI that scares us instead of only the part that excites us.

— Yash Thakker, Founder

How we teach

Four principles we don't compromise on

01

Day-1 execution

Every session ends with something built — not something to try later. Concepts land the moment they're taught because students immediately apply them. Theory without practice is just trivia.

02

Real examples, right now

Classes are built around things happening today — not case studies from five years ago. When the world changes fast, your examples have to keep up. We teach with live demos, current tools, and situations your students actually recognise.

03

All formats, no excuses

People learn differently. We've delivered in-person workshops, live bootcamps, online courses, corporate sessions, hybrid programs, and everything in between. Format follows the learner, not the other way around.

04

Fun is a feature, not a bonus

People learn faster when they're engaged. Boring classes aren't humble — they're ineffective. We borrow the energy of YouTube creators: clear, direct, opinionated, and built for retention.

What we believe

The principles behind every decision

  • Learners don't want to be lectured at — they want to build things.

  • The best educators today learn the same way their students do.

  • AI doesn't replace teaching — it raises the bar for what good teaching looks like.

  • A skill taught once and forgotten is just noise. Day-1 execution makes it stick.

  • The future of learning is being written now, and the old playbook doesn't apply.
