Product walkthrough

From five questions to agent-ready context

Every step below is live in the dashboard today. Screenshots are inline mockups of the real UI. Open /dashboard/mind to try it.

01 · Onboarding

Five questions that map your mental model

Role and team context, topics you know best, how you explain and decide, principles you use in trade-offs, and what you are working toward now. Honest answers, not a preference quiz, become the baseline agents and teammates can read.

Step 2 of 5

What topics or problems do you know best, and where does your thinking stand out?

Name domains, problems, and skills. Add specifics instead of broad labels like “AI”.

MCP integrations, context engineering, turning research papers into shipped internal tools.

02 · Thinking anchors

Stable traits agents can mirror on turn one

Keywords and traits like "clarity over cleverness" or "context engineering" give models repeatable signals. You edit anchors anytime. They are reasoning habits, not likes or dislikes.

How you think

03 · Melo enrichment

Fill gaps in chat with Melo

Melo spots what is missing in your profile, suggests patterns you have not named, and helps tighten how your mind reads to others. Add anchors from replies with one click.

Melo enrichment

Fill gaps in your profile through conversation

What reasoning habits am I missing when I hand work off to an agent?
You optimize for clarity-first docs but rarely mention how you escalate ambiguity. Add an anchor like “name the unknown before proposing”.

04 · Export & handoff

Agent negotiation link in one copy

Export a structured agent handoff for Claude, Cursor, or custom agents. Public negotiation links let agents fetch your profile from one URL. The Mind Room adds a spatial view on the same data.

Built for agents, collaborators, and hiring

Mind gives agents and teammates readable context: how you think under real trade-offs.

For AI agents

  • Copy the agent handoff prompt or share the negotiation URL so new agents mirror how you reason on the first turn.
  • Thinking anchors beat vague "be helpful" instructions. Models get stable trade-off signals.
  • Melo enrichment keeps the profile current as your focus shifts.

For collaborators

  • Onboard async teammates with a readable snapshot of how you think and communicate.
  • Cut repeated context-setting in Slack threads and agent handoffs.
  • Mind Room (coming soon) lets visitors explore anchors in space instead of scrolling a list.

For hiring & teams

  • Share how you decide under ambiguity before a working session.
  • Give interviewers and partners a mind profile instead of a static LinkedIn summary.
  • Public agent handoff links for "how I work" pages are live when you enable them. Agents can load the same negotiation block from the URL.

Coming soon

The Mind Room. Explore someone's thinking in space

A walkable 3D room built from the same Mind profile: mood colors, imagery, and thinking anchors visitors can discover as they move. Read a bio, or walk through how someone reasons, then hand that context to an agent with one link.

  • Visitors explore anchors spatially, not in a flat bullet list.
  • Colors and imagery reflect how you think, not Pinterest boards.
  • Public agent handoff URLs agents and humans can both load.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Mind profile on explainx.ai?
A Mind profile captures how you think, decide, and communicate. It is not a quiz about topics you like. You record your role, expertise, reasoning style, priorities, and thinking anchors so agents and teammates can read you in minutes instead of over repeated meetings.
How does Melo help enrich my Mind?
After five onboarding questions, Melo asks follow-ups about gaps in your profile, suggests thinking anchors and traits, and helps you draft a compact export for Claude, Cursor, or any custom agent setup. Most people add at least three new anchors in their first enrichment session.
Who can see my Mind profile?
Your Mind lives in your dashboard. Enable public agent handoff to share a negotiation link agents can fetch, or copy the prompt directly into Claude, Cursor, or any custom setup. The Mind Room, a walkable 3D view, is planned next.
How is Mind different from a learning profile?
Your learning profile powers course and pathway recommendations on explainx.ai. Mind is for sharing outward: your thinking style and priorities for agents, teammates, hiring, and future visual rooms.
Can I use Mind for agent handoffs?
Yes. Copy the agent negotiation prompt from your dashboard, or give agents the handoff URL (/api/mind/[shareId]?format=agent). They load structured context about how you think, decide, and communicate. Thinking anchors give models stable trade-off signals that beat vague instructions like "be helpful."
Is Mind a personality quiz or preference list?
No. Mind records how you reason and communicate under real trade-offs. It is built for agent setup, async collaboration, and onboarding. Not entertainment profiling.
What is the Mind Room?
The Mind Room is a coming-soon spatial view of someone's mind: mood colors, imagery, and thinking anchors in a walkable 3D space. Visitors explore how a person thinks, not just read a bio. It uses the same Mind profile data you build today.

Start with five questions

Your Mind profile grows with every Melo conversation. It stays a living record of how you think, not a static preference list.
