explainx.ai · Mission
Make AI skills practical,
immediately usable.
Our mission is simple: every learner walks away from a session having already applied the concept — not planning to try it later. Practical. Hands-on. Real examples from things happening right now. And genuinely fun, because boring classes don't work.

A personal note
AI is the best thing to happen to us.
It's also what I worry about most.
I'm not writing this as a mission statement. I'm writing it because it's true.
I have a child, and like a lot of people who think seriously about where AI is headed, I worry about the world she's going to grow up in. Not in an abstract way — genuinely. AI is one of the best things to happen to humanity in my lifetime. It's already changing how our students learn, how founders build, how people work. I believe that. I've built a company betting on it.
But a technology this powerful doesn't get a pass on the ways it can go wrong. Models that lie confidently. Agents that hallucinate a plan and execute it anyway. Systems handed real permissions — shell access, browser control, API keys — with almost nobody watching what they actually do with that power. And underneath all of it, a harder question more serious people are asking every year: what happens as these systems get more capable than us, faster than we can build the tools to understand or correct them? I don't think that's science fiction. I think it's a real possibility — deception, hallucination, and, at the far end, even extinction risk — and pretending otherwise is how we sleepwalk into it.
So we're doing what little we can. explainx.ai started as, and remains, an education company — we're not walking away from that, because teaching people to use AI well is part of the same fight. But we're also expanding into AI safety and security, starting with Sentinel: a product built to watch what AI agents actually do, and flag it when something looks dangerous, inconsistent, or dishonest. It's not because we think one startup solves alignment. It's because we know how to build software, we've spent years deep in this ecosystem, and this was the most obvious direction for that expertise to go.
This isn't a pivot away from what we believe in. It's the same belief, applied to the part of AI that scares us instead of only the part that excites us.

How we do it
Six commitments we don't bend on
01
Day-1 execution
Students leave every session having built something — not just having heard about it. Concepts are taught through doing, so the skill is already in muscle memory before class ends.
02
Real examples, right now
No case studies from five years ago. Every class uses live demos, current tools, and examples that students recognise from their own work today.
03
Zero dry theory
Traditional theory-heavy teaching is ineffective. We skip the slides and go straight to the thing that matters: can you do it when you leave?
04
Fun is intentional
People learn faster when they're engaged. We borrow the energy of YouTube creators — clear, direct, opinionated, and built to hold attention and drive retention.
05
Every format, every learner
From corporate boardrooms to live Zoom bootcamps, in-person workshops to self-paced courses — we've delivered across all modalities because different learners need different formats.
06
Explore the future of learning
We're actively rethinking what learning looks like now that AI changes what's even worth teaching. The old curriculum doesn't work. We're building the new one in real time.
Who we teach
From complete beginners to enterprise teams
We've taught across every level and every format — solo learners building their first AI app, product managers upskilling on Claude, and enterprise teams at companies like Tata and PayPal rolling out AI programmes at scale. The format changes. The commitment to practical, hands-on learning doesn't.
