1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between AISOLO Technologies Private Limited ("AISOLO", "we", "us", "our") and you ("you", "User"). They govern access to and use of the website and services available at explainx.ai and related subdomains (collectively, the "Platform").
explainx.ai is a product of AISOLO. The Platform includes, without limitation: the main explainx.ai website; the related Learn application and learning-management features; a public registry of agent skills; directories of MCP servers, AI tools, agents, language models, loops, and plugins; the explainx.ai hosted MCP integration for compatible AI clients; Melo, the explainx.ai learning copilot, including file-aware chat, teaching, interview, quiz, flashcard, and practice modes; AI-assisted search, chat, learning-path, and evaluation features; voluntary research experiences such as the State of AI survey; a weekly AI newsletter and educational content; the Melo by Explainx browser extension ("Extension") distributed via the Chrome Web Store; the explainx.ai mobile app ("App", available or forthcoming on iOS and Android); instructor-led live Workshops; self-paced Courses; structured Bootcamps; AI certification Mock Tests; organization workspaces, course assignments, and learning reports; paid Membership plans (monthly, annual, lifetime); optional paid custom deliverables, paid skill access, corporate training, and community links; and related tools for learning about, discovering, and sharing AI resources (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms incorporate the Privacy Policy by reference.
This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and is published in accordance with applicable intermediary and digital media rules in India where relevant.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or use account-gated features. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Accounts
You may need to register an account to access certain features (e.g. submitting skills, managing a profile). You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Shared identity. Your explainx.ai account may be used across the main Website, Learn, and other AISOLO-operated interfaces. The applications may maintain separate operational records linked to the same canonical identity so that sign-in, entitlements, learning progress, organization membership, and permissions work across the Platform. Deleting or changing one shared account may therefore affect access across those interfaces.
You may sign in through supported identity providers or authorize compatible clients through OAuth. You are responsible for reviewing the permissions shown before approving a connection and for revoking access you no longer want. Organization administrators may invite members, assign courses, and view organization-scoped learning and audit information as described in Section 12.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose security risks, or for other legitimate reasons, with or without notice where permitted by law.
4. User content and submissions
You may submit content such as skill metadata, descriptions, repository references, reviews, ratings, comments, discussion questions, answers, content flags, survey responses, organization information, AI prompts, quiz or interview responses, files you choose to provide to Melo, and related materials ("User Content"). Listing information relating to MCP servers or other directory entries may similarly be submitted or indexed as described on the Platform. Operational expectations for skill submissions are summarized in our Submission guidelines. You retain ownership of your intellectual property rights in User Content you submit, subject to the license below.
Public submissions. For User Content you submit for public display—such as a registry listing, comment, review, rating, or discussion post—you grant AISOLO a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, moderate, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and improve the public Platform and Services.
Private learning content. Prompts, uploaded files, private quiz or interview answers, and similar material provided inside Melo or another account-gated learning experience are not made public merely because you submit them. You grant AISOLO and its service providers a limited license to receive, process, reproduce, and transmit that material only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the feature, subject to our Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit User Content and permit the processing described above. Do not upload confidential information, trade secrets, regulated data, personal information about others, or copyrighted material that you are not authorized to use.
We may moderate, reject, remove, or rank submissions for quality, security, legal compliance, or product reasons. We are not obligated to host any particular submission.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable laws or third-party rights (including IP and privacy rights).
- Upload malware, scrape or overload the Platform without permission, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
- Impersonate others, manipulate rankings deceptively, or distribute spam or harmful content.
- Use the Platform to distribute illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or content that infringes others’ rights.
- Circumvent access controls, payment or entitlement checks, rate limits, quiz integrity controls, OAuth consent, or safeguards applied to AI and MCP features.
- Use automated access in a way that materially burdens the Platform, extracts non-public data, or violates published API rules, robots directives, or a third party's terms.
- Record, copy, redistribute, resell, or share private class access, Workshop recordings, paid course materials, Mock Tests, or another learner's contributions without authorization.
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
6. Intellectual property
The Platform, branding, design, and our proprietary materials are owned by AISOLO or its licensors. Except for your User Content, nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of our IP. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our software except as permitted by law or express permission.
Blogs, newsletters, explainers, rankings, summaries, learning materials, and other editorial content are provided for education and discovery. They may discuss or link to third-party products and sources, may become outdated, and do not create an endorsement or professional-advice relationship.
7. Directories, third-party offerings, and MCP integrations
The Platform functions as a discovery and indexing service (sometimes described as a registry or directory). It is not a download store, app marketplace operator, or host of third-party executable software, MCP servers, agent skills, repositories, or tools. Unless we expressly state otherwise for a specific AISOLO-owned offering, we do not claim ownership, control, possession, or exclusive rights in any skill, MCP server, tool, repository, package, or other third-party resource referenced on the Platform, and we do not represent that we have the right to grant you access to or a license for any third-party offering.
Public nature of listing data. Much of the information displayed about skills, MCP servers, and related listings is intended to be publicly available on the Platform (and may also appear in search engines, APIs, or mirrors). It may be compiled from user submissions, publicly available sources, or automated indexing. We do not warrant that such information is complete, current, accurate, lawful, or safe. You are solely responsible for verifying any listing before you install, configure, run, or rely on any third-party software or service.
No endorsement; no agency. A listing, ranking, badge, link, or mention on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, certification, partnership, agency relationship, or guarantee by AISOLO. We may moderate or remove listings for policy or legal reasons without implying approval or disapproval of any remaining listing.
Your risk; third-party terms. If you install skills, connect MCP servers, use tools, or follow links from the Platform, you do so entirely at your own risk and subject to the applicable third party’s terms, licenses, and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party code, security vulnerabilities, data processing, availability, performance, fees, or conduct—including any loss, damage, or liability arising from your use of or inability to use any third-party offering.
Hosted MCP integration.AISOLO may provide an authenticated MCP service that lets compatible AI clients search or retrieve explainx.ai directory and editorial information. When you authorize a client, that client may send tool names, queries, identifiers, and protocol metadata to us on your behalf. The client itself is a third-party service governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control the client's prompts, model outputs, storage, or later use of results. Access tokens are limited, revocable credentials; you must not share, sell, or attempt to derive another user's credentials.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AISOLO disclaims responsibility for all third-party skills, MCP servers, tools, and content discoverable through the Platform. Nothing in these Terms creates an obligation for us to monitor, police, or pre-approve third-party offerings.
8. Paid services and checkout
Certain offerings on the Platform are paid Services, including Memberships, courses, Mock Tests, Workshops, Bootcamps, organization licenses, newsletter placements, custom deliverables, and paid skill access. The seller or provider, price, currency, access period, and material inclusions are those displayed at checkout or on the applicable product page. AISOLO-provided services are distinct from public directory listings and third-party offerings described in Section 7.
Checkout. Payment is processed by our payment processor (currently Stripe). Fees, timelines, and deliverables are as shown on the applicable checkout or product page. Taxes may apply depending on jurisdiction.
Fulfillment. We deliver paid custom DESIGN.md purchases to the email you supply, within the timeframe stated on the product page unless we notify you otherwise. Outputs are not automatically published in our public DESIGN.md registry as part of that purchase.
Clarifications. We may contact you (including at the email you provide) with reasonable questions about your product, positioning, visual language, or site URL to clarify requirements and improve the deliverable. Delays caused by unanswered clarification requests may extend the delivery timeline proportionally where applicable.
Agreement. By submitting the order form and continuing to Stripe checkout, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms (including dispute and limitation provisions that apply generally) and our Privacy Policy.
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy and any product-specific terms shown before purchase. Nothing in these Terms excludes non-waivable consumer rights.
9. Paid skills marketplace
Approved authors may offer paid access to skills or associated private repositories. AISOLO provides checkout, entitlement records, and access coordination, but the author remains responsible for the submitted skill, repository, license, documentation, support commitments, security, and right to sell it.
Buyers. A purchase grants the personal, non-transferable access described on the listing; it does not transfer copyright or guarantee perpetual third-party hosting. You must provide a valid email and, where repository access is used, a valid GitHub username. Access may depend on the author maintaining the repository and required provider connection. Report failed fulfillment promptly so we can investigate under the Refund Policy.
Authors and payouts. Authors authorize us and our providers to process purchases, grant buyer access where technically available, issue refunds or chargeback responses, and contact them about fulfillment. Authors must provide accurate payout and repository-access information. Payout timing, fees, reserves, taxes, identity checks, and supported methods may be communicated separately and may change for legal, fraud, or processor requirements. We may withhold or reverse amounts associated with refunds, disputes, fraud, infringement, or breach of these Terms.
10. Bootcamps
The Platform lists bootcamp programs at /bootcamp and related pages. Some bootcamps are operated and sold directly by AISOLO ("AISOLO Bootcamps"); others are operated by independent third-party brands ("Third-Party Bootcamps") and are listed for discovery purposes only. This section explains what applies to each.
Third-Party Bootcamps (listing only). Bootcamps not operated by AISOLO are listed on the Platform as a discovery service only. AISOLO does not own, operate, endorse, or control those programs. Your enrollment, payment, and participation in any Third-Party Bootcamp is governed exclusively by that brand's own terms, policies, and refund rules. AISOLO is not responsible for Third-Party Bootcamp content, schedule changes, instructor substitutions, cancellations, refunds, or any other aspect of those programs. Section 7 of these Terms applies to Third-Party Bootcamp listings.
AISOLO Bootcamps. AISOLO operates its own instructor-led programs (such as the Complete AI Builder Bootcamp) sold directly through the Platform. The following terms apply to enrollments in AISOLO Bootcamps, in addition to the general paid services terms in Section 8:
Schedule and dates. Session dates, times, durations, module order, and curricula for AISOLO Bootcamps are subject to change at AISOLO's sole discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled participants of material schedule changes via the email you provide at registration, but we are not responsible for any costs, losses, or inconvenience arising from rescheduling.
Instructors and speakers. Instructors, guest speakers, and facilitators listed on the Platform or in promotional materials for AISOLO Bootcamps are illustrative only and may change without prior notice. Enrolling in an AISOLO Bootcamp does not guarantee access to any specific instructor, guest, or format. AISOLO may substitute instructors at any time at its discretion, and such substitution alone does not entitle you to a refund or credit.
Enrollment and access. Upon enrollment and payment in an AISOLO Bootcamp, you receive a personal, non-transferable right to attend the scheduled sessions. You may not resell, share, or transfer your enrollment to another individual without AISOLO's prior written consent.
No guaranteed outcomes. AISOLO Bootcamp content is provided for educational purposes only. AISOLO does not guarantee specific learning outcomes, certifications from third parties, job placement, salary changes, or any particular skill acquisition results.
Refunds. Refund terms for AISOLO Bootcamps, if any, are stated at checkout or on the applicable product page. Questions may be directed to [email protected].
11. Live Workshops and corporate training
explainx.ai offers instructor-led live Workshopscovering topics such as Claude for Work, Loop Engineering, and AI Skills & MCP. The following terms apply to Workshop enrollments:
Enrollment. You may enroll via a paid checkout (processed by Stripe) or, if you hold an active Annual or Lifetime Membership, at no additional charge. Upon successful enrollment you receive a personal, non-transferable right to attend the scheduled Workshop run.
Schedule, cohort, and delivery changes. To improve the learner experience or respond to instructor availability, cohort size, technical issues, holidays, safety concerns, or other operational needs, AISOLO may change session dates or times, session order, duration, curriculum sequence, delivery platform, online or in-person format, instructors or facilitators, or move an enrollment to a reasonably comparable Workshop run. We may also combine or divide cohorts where doing so does not materially reduce the purchased program. We will use reasonable efforts to notify enrolled participants of material changes via their registered email. Instructor substitution, a change of delivery platform, or a reasonable curriculum reordering alone does not entitle you to a refund. Material rescheduling remains subject to the options in our Refund Policy and any non-waivable consumer rights.
Class participation and conduct.Join links, class spaces, resources, and recordings are for the enrolled participant only. You must not disrupt a class, harass participants, capture another person's information, or independently record a session without our prior written permission and any consent required by law. We may remove a participant whose conduct materially affects safety, privacy, or the learning experience.
Workshop recordings. We may record a Workshop for enrolled participants, quality review, facilitator training, or future educational use. We will provide notice when a session is being recorded. By joining after that notice, you consent to the capture of contributions you choose to make by voice, video, screen share, or chat. If you do not want your voice or image recorded, keep your microphone and camera off and avoid sharing identifying information; contact us before class if this prevents meaningful participation. We may edit recordings and may delay, replace, or withdraw access for privacy, safety, technical, licensing, or quality reasons. Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, recording availability, timing, and duration of access are not guaranteed. Recording access is personal and non-transferable; you may not download, reproduce, publish, sell, or share a recording except where the Platform expressly permits it.
No guaranteed outcomes. Workshops are provided for educational purposes only. AISOLO does not guarantee specific learning outcomes, job placement, or skill acquisition results.
Refunds. Refund terms for Workshops are set out in our Refund Policy.
Corporate training inquiries and engagements may involve separate proposals, statements of work, or enterprise terms. If those documents conflict with these Terms for the engagement, the signed enterprise terms control. Unless expressly agreed in writing, examples, curricula, dates, and outcomes shown on a landing page are proposals rather than guaranteed deliverables.
12. Learn, Melo, courses, pathways, quizzes, and certificates
Learn provides course content, chapters, resources, quizzes, discussions, progress tracking, personalized learning paths, notifications, and certificates. Access may be free, individually purchased, included with Membership, or assigned through an organization. Content, instructors, availability, and included features may evolve as courses are updated.
Learning records. We may record enrollments, chapter and quiz completion, answers, scores, watch progress, discussion activity, content reports, certificates, and personalized-path preferences. Course instructors and authorized organization administrators may view relevant learner records, and a display name and score may appear on a leaderboard where enabled. Scores, recommendations, estimated completion time, and AI-generated paths are learning aids—not accredited qualifications, employment guarantees, or professional assessments.
Organizations. If you join an organization workspace, its authorized owners or administrators may invite or remove members, assign courses, manage seats, set due dates, review enrollment requests, and view organization-scoped progress, completion, and audit records. Your use may also be governed by an agreement between AISOLO and the organization. Contact the organization regarding its independent policies and instructions.
Certificates. A certificate reflects completion recorded by the Platform at the time of issuance. It is not a degree, professional license, third-party certification, or guarantee that a regulator, employer, or certification body will accept it. We may correct or revoke a certificate issued through error, fraud, or misuse.
12.1 Melo learning copilot and file chat
Melo is an AI-assisted learning feature that can answer questions, teach concepts, conduct interviews, generate quizzes or flashcards, and work with files or explainx.ai learning sources you select. Available modes, models, file types, source limits, usage allowances, and plan eligibility may change as the Service evolves. Melo is a study aid and does not replace an instructor, accredited assessment, or independent review of important information.
Files are transmitted to our AI inference provider for the current request. explainx.ai does not intentionally save the uploaded file contents in your Melo chat history, although the visible conversation, generated response, file name, selected source reference, mode, and quiz interaction may be saved so you can reopen the chat. You may need to attach the file again for a later request. Details about processors, retention, and deletion are in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for checking Melo's output against the original material and reliable sources. Do not rely on Melo to preserve the only copy of a file, satisfy a records-retention duty, or provide legal, medical, financial, employment, examination, or other professional advice.
12.2 Mock Tests
explainx.ai offers AI certification practice tests ("Mock Tests") for purchase on the Platform at /tests. By purchasing a Mock Test, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the test content for your individual study purposes.
- Digital content. Mock Tests are digital content delivered immediately upon purchase. You may not copy, reproduce, share, resell, or distribute test questions, answers, or any part of the test content.
- No refunds. Because Mock Tests are digital content accessible immediately after purchase, all sales are final. See our Refund Policy.
- Accuracy. Mock Test content is provided for study and practice only. AISOLO does not guarantee that Mock Test content reflects current exam formats or that passing a Mock Test will result in passing any third-party certification exam.
13. Membership plans
explainx.ai offers paid Membership plans (monthly, annual, and lifetime) at the prices displayed on /pricing at time of purchase. A Membership gives access to premium platform features and content curated and selected by explainx.ai, which may include workshop enrollment benefits, courses, certification practice, the AI learning assistant, premium content, and community access, as described on the pricing page.
13.1 Included content and exclusions
Subscription access covers content and features created, curated, or selected by explainx.ai. The following apply:
- Curated selection. We determine which bootcamp cohorts, courses, tests, skills, and other content are included in a subscription at our reasonable discretion. Not all content on the Platform is automatically included; we may exclude specific items (e.g. third-party paid content, premium cohorts, special programs, or separately priced offerings).
- Changes to included content. We may add or remove items from the subscription at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you by email of material reductions in included content before they take effect. If a material reduction occurs mid-billing-period and you choose to cancel, we will not charge you for the next period.
- Third-party content. Some bootcamps or courses listed on the Platform are operated by third parties and are not included in the subscription. Their terms and pricing apply separately. The Platform distinguishes AISOLO-operated from third-party programs where reasonably practicable.
13.2 Plan tiers
Available plan tiers, prices, and benefits are shown on /pricingat the time of purchase. We may introduce, retire, or modify tiers and included benefits with notice required by applicable law. A “lifetime” plan means access for the commercial lifetime of the applicable Service, not the purchaser's lifetime, and remains subject to these Terms.
13.3 Billing, renewal, and cancellation
- Monthly subscriptions are billed every 30 days in advance. Annual subscriptions are billed once per year. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
- You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
- We may change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
13.4 Refunds
Refund terms for Membership plans are set out in our Refund Policy. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at [email protected] within 7 days.
14. AI features, evaluations, personalization, and research
AI-generated replies, summaries, recommendations, classifications, learning paths, scores, reports, and comparisons may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. They are provided for education and convenience, not as legal, medical, financial, hiring, certification, or other professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and for decisions or actions based on them. Do not submit secrets or sensitive personal information unless the feature expressly requires it and you accept the disclosed processing.
AI requests may be sent with relevant account profile fields, recent conversation turns, selected Platform sources, and files or text you provide to an AI service provider. Outputs may reflect provider limitations, safety filters, usage limits, and temporary availability. We may change models or providers, introduce or adjust rate or token limits, and suspend a feature when reasonably necessary for safety, quality, cost, security, or operational reasons.
Free evaluations may use your answers to calculate a score or recommended pathway and may ask for an email to save or deliver results. These are informal educational assessments, not psychometric tests or employment decisions. Voluntary research surveys may aggregate and publish responses and findings. Where a survey is intentionally anonymous and not linked to an account or identifier, we may be unable to locate or withdraw an individual response after submission.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise, you receive no ownership, exclusivity, payment, or authorship claim in aggregate research findings, rankings, benchmarks, or generalized product insights derived from lawful use of the Platform. Your rights in User Content remain subject to Section 4.
15. Communications and community
If you opt in to marketing communications (e.g. AI newsletter), you consent to receive those messages until you unsubscribe. Transactional and service emails may be sent without separate marketing consent where necessary to operate your account.
If you subscribe to the newsletter or create an account with the relevant preference enabled, we may send a limited educational or product email journey based on the signup source and high-level learning activity. You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Security, purchase, access, and other necessary service notices are transactional and may continue while you use the relevant Service.
Community spaces hosted by third parties, including Discord, are governed by those providers' terms and privacy practices. Content you post there may be visible to other members and is not a private support channel unless expressly identified as one.
16. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT OR RANKINGS ARE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. SKILLS, MCP SERVERS, TOOLS, AND OTHER LISTINGS ARE PROVIDED BY USERS OR THIRD PARTIES; WE DO NOT ENDORSE OR GUARANTEE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME, SECURITY, OR FITNESS FOR YOUR USE CASE. SECTIONS 7 (DIRECTORIES AND MCP INTEGRATIONS), 8–13 (PAID AND LEARNING SERVICES), AND 14 (AI FEATURES AND RESEARCH) FORM PART OF THESE DISCLAIMERS.
17. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AISOLO AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) INR 5,000, EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
18. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AISOLO and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Platform, your use of or reliance on any third-party skill, MCP server, tool, or listing discovered through the Platform, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
19. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. You may delete your account where the feature is available. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) will survive termination.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable mandatory provisions, courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction. You may also pursue rights available to you under the DPDP Act or other applicable consumer or data protection frameworks.
21. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.
22. Miscellaneous
If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AISOLO regarding the explainx.ai Platform and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
