Alibaba publishes Qwen in many parameter sizes, from small models that run on a laptop to large ones aimed at matching closed frontier models, making it one of the most widely fine-tuned open-weight base models in the research community. It's also the model family behind several other companies' and researchers' downstream fine-tunes.
