Something is happening: the video shows a seated customer, a scanning / mapping phase, and an arm executing a cut. Secondary outlets (Vending Times, roundups echoing the same social posts) repeat “cities are deploying” language that originated on social media — not from a named OEM press kit with store counts.
For procurement or journalism, demand:
- Operator name (franchise, mall landlord, OEM)
- Address list you can visit this week
- Posted price on the machine, not a caption

Industrial collaborative arms, depth cameras, booth build-out, insurance, cleaning cycles, and technicians who reset jammed clippers all cost money.
