Graph Engineering

Graph engineering is designing a multi-agent organization as a programmable graph: which agents exist, what each owns, and how work flows between them.

It sits one layer above loop engineering. Each node is an agent running its own loop; the edges are handoffs, dependencies, and failure routes. Production systems usually run two graphs at once: a stable org graph of long-lived specialists, and a work graph of tasks that can split, merge, or disappear as evidence arrives. A dynamic agent org is the case where the graph rewrites its own structure while work is happening.
