Announced at OpenAI DevDay on September 29, 2026, Codex Security Cloud scans GitHub repos on demand or on a schedule and watches new commits. OpenAI says it investigates findings, removes duplicates, and prepares fixes while the laptop is closed. It includes models offered through Daybreak Blue without a separate Daybreak application. It is the cloud counterpart to the July 2026 open-source Codex Security CLI and SDK.
