Nick Bostrom's standard formulation is an intellect that vastly outperforms humans in virtually all domains of interest, including scientific creativity, general wisdom, and social skills. A later DeepMind line defines ASI as more capable than large organizations of humans. Domain-superhuman models, a company named Safe Superintelligence, and marketing phrases like personal superintelligence do not meet that bar. Superintelligence is a capability claim, not a product SKU.
