That's not an unfair read — the benefits list ends with "opportunities for a HQ visit in June 2027 and other surprises along the way," and the FAQ's own framing of Campus Leads as people who'll "bring others along with them" describes a distribution network, not a scholarship.
A more skeptical reply, from @MerbTheDerb, pushed back on the compensation framing itself: "any time that i hear a company brag about giving out 'swag' i know that's the equivalent of being a reddit mod, zero pay and probably pushing a product."
