Connect ExplainX to Claude
Add ExplainX as a custom connector in Claude.ai or the Claude desktop app.
Claude.ai and the Claude desktop app connect to remote MCP servers through Connectors, a settings panel where you register a server by URL and approve its OAuth scopes once. Once ExplainX is added, Claude can call its search and fetch tools mid-conversation without you leaving the chat.
Setup steps
- 01Open Claude settings and go to Connectors.
- 02Choose Add custom connector and name it ExplainX.
- 03Paste https://mcp.explainx.ai/mcp as the server URL.
- 04Sign in with your ExplainX account and approve the read-only permissions.
